InnaLabs were proud to be in attendance at the Irish Space Technology Showcase at Enterprise Ireland HQ in Dublin. The event was brought together by Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland, and was directly supported by the European Space Agency.
Emer Higgins, the Minister of State for Business, Employment and Retail, was in attendance to launch the showcase. She was met by the CEO of InnaLabs®, John O’Leary, where a discussion took place regarding the space heritage that InnaLabs® has obtained and how InnaLabs® have gone from strength to strength in recent years with supplying state-of-the-art gyroscopes to the space industry, along with how InnaLabs® plan to build upon this positive momentum going forward. InnaLabs® were honoured by the kind words that the minister gave in her speech on this matter.
InnaLabs® were also delighted to see a highly valued member of our team, Alberto Torasso, taking part in the fascinating panel discussions on the day, which brought together many of the space primes with companies in the Irish space industry to discuss how far the industry has come in recent years and steps that can be taken in the coming years to continue to grow the industry.
Following on from the successful launch of the European Space Agency ‘HERA’ mission on the 7th of October, which had the InnaLabs® ‘ARIETIS-NS’ 3-axis gyroscope onboard playing a critical role in guiding the satellite on its mission through the stars, InnaLabs® are deeply optimistic about the future of this sector in Ireland and look forward to being involved in more discussions and developments like the Irish Space Technology Showcase going forward.
