Symposium Gyro Technology. Karlsruhe, Germany

 

INNALABS has participated in the international Symposium Gyro Technology 2011 which is annually held at Karlsruhe, Germany.

 

At this symposium the latest state of gyro technology (including inertial navigation systems and components as well as optical rate sensors) has been presented. This includes applications of this technology, the development of new systems, components and test procedures as well as investigations on cost and marketing aspects. As modern systems for navigation, positioning and direction finding are increasingly making use of information from non-inertial sensors and systems, these topics were focused on by the conference with growing interest. Papers covering hybrid systems, which fuse information from inertial sensors with that from satellite positioning and/or additional visual, infrared, radar or other sensors were also highly appreciated.
