Inertial Navigation Systems - INS
Accelerometers and gyroscopes for the heart of your inertial navigation system.
The level of accuracy for an INS depends on where it will be used and if it is a primary or secondary navigation system. Augmenting accelerometers and gyroscopes with magnetometers, GPS and other sensors inputs can greatly increase the accuracy and also provide reference data to correct gyroscope or accelerometer bias or drift. However accuracy, exceptionally low drift and excellent stability are key parameters for INS systems.
