Flight Control

    On-board flight control systems require highly accurate data on the airframes position, heading, speed, altitude, orientation, pitch, roll and yaw, as well as data on other factors such as temperature and vibration. Modern aircraft systems increasingly rely on automated flight control systems and automatic warning systems to alert pilots to any issues, and sophisticated autopilot systems rely entirely on sensor data. Rotary wing platforms typically require a greater number of sensors than fixed wing.
