Innalabs' specialists at the Gyro Technology Symposium 2008
01.09.2008

Innalabs® specialists participate in the Gyro Technology Symposium 2008, which is held in September, 16-17, 2008, at Karlsruhe, Germany.

The Gyro Technology international Symposium is held at the Karlsruhe University in cooperation with Systems Optimization Institute (SOI) and the German Navigation Institute (GNI).

Our engineers have been visiting this very conference for the tenth time. The Compensated Differential CVG report will be delivered there. This new control algorithm was proposed to control standing wave in CVG, which enables to realize two gyros with opposite sensing axes in the one resonator.

The history of the symposium began in 1965 when the German Institute of Navigation constituted the Technical Committee 8 (Fa8), chaired by Prof. Magnus. In 1971, Dr. Sorg took over the chairmanship of FA8, which in that year was renamed Special Committee for Gyro Technology and from the plenary session of this Special Committee, the Symposium Gyro Technology was born. Since 1979 the Gyro Symposium in Stuttgart became a constant event every September. In 2007, the chairmanship was transferred to Prof. Trommer, director of the Institute of Systems Optimization at the University of Karlsruhe , where the Symposium Gyro Technology is hosted now.

You can learn more about the event at its website.
